ACCESSIBILITY & OPENNESS: Let’s Talk

A community isn’t a community unless people are accessible to one another; unless there’s sharing, talking, and yes, healthy debate.

Our future depends on an open, ongoing dialogue but it also requires initiative on our part. In short, actions in addition to words. To that end, we’re demonstrating our commitment to the North Shore by our involvement with Kahuku and Waialua high schools, our support for local charities (including $110,000 to Friends of Hawaii this year alone), our contributions to golf programs and support of the North Shore Youth Athletic Foundation, our resort-wide recycling program, and by providing the revenue from the sale of all 2007 golf tournament tickets to Kahuku high schools.

As far as the talk and the debate are concerned, we welcome your comments and especially your ideas. The future of the North Shore is something we must create together – in the spirit of Aloha.
